Oh my Gosh!!!!

I just spoke to Jake and it was like night and day....he sounded sooooooooo good!!! He had the "procedure" this morning where they inserted the drain into his liver/bile duct....no one is clear on this, but it is draining. I told Jake I sort of see it as a septic tank....remembering early marriage homes with septic tanks and those roter-rooter guys coming to drain them....yuk! same deal here! The "procedure" (oh, please) is surgery in my book....they put you to slelep and then insert something like a knife or needle into your body....thank you but that to me means yet another scar and thus it must be some sort of surgery. The word procedure is strictly for your mental health issues! yo duhhhhhhhh, are we stupid here?
anyway, the "procedure" went well, he feels better and sounds better. The next step is to see what the culture of the septic system crud shows and treat that. Definitely another few days in the hospital. You can tell I am feeling better about all this too. I just hope tonight is good night...with no fever!!!!!! and lots of healing sleep!
