What to blog?

I am supposed to be in Selma, AL with Keith. I wish I were there but I just couldn't feel good about leaving Jake. Rosemary is having a golf tournament in memory of our dear friend Art who passed away a year ago tomorrow. I hope that everyone participating does so with a story to tell cause there isn't a person alive who doesn't have an Art story to share. He was the consummate story teller. He was bigger than life and we will miss him always.

I visited Jake today in the hospital. He looks good and his pain appears to have diminished to some degree. He still has infections in his blood that need to be cleared up before they will list him on the transplant list. April has gone back to work but is spending the weekend at the hospital with Jake. That girl makes things happen so maybe she will get some insider information for us by weekend's end.
