MORE GOOD NEWS!

Jake is out of ICU!!!!!!!! Whoo Hoo! It's a happy day! Lots of "attachments" have been removed and he is up and actually walking a little bit. Also eating! He really hadn't eaten in 6 days and gained almost 30 pounds in fluids!!!!! That seems hard to believe but it is true! He was so dehydrated that they just flooded his body with fluids.......and now to rid him of them! ack! what a process! The women reading this are thinking.....this is my worst nightmare...30 pounds in 6 days! LOL but apparently the fluids help flush the bacteria and all the infections out of the body. April is never leaving town again! Good thing! She is so devoted and attentive! I couldn't ask for a better DIL (daughter-in-law). She really is an angel!
