Well, we have returned from SC safe and sound thanks to me being a backseat driver....only one close call but it was too close for comfort. Anyway, had I failed to mention that, I would be remiss in my reporting of our adventures. We really had a great time. We went to St. Mary's, GA on the way up to stop for lunch, hit a few antique stores and check out the venue for the next show in February....then on to Savannah where we wished we could have stayed forever....oh my gosh, what a beautiful town, so much to see and do and we only had a couple of hours. We went to the At Home store, filled with one of a kind vintage items all priced really high but still a wonderful place to shop for the unusual. Paula, this is must do next year regardless of the hurricane season!
Here is a picture of Sharon shopping in the craziest antique junk shop I have ever been in......makes Cheap Charlie's in Clearwater look neat and tidy.

. Alas, we had to keep heading north and wound up spending the night in Columbia. On to Greenville (via back roads and antique stores)on Friday for a noon set-up of the Wilde Ideas booth. Quite an undertaking for this novice, but it turned out looking great and I was able to display my little Shoebox Treasures too.
Here is a picture of my little corner.

By the time we finished we were exhausted and headed to our hotel....did the quick dinner thing every night as we were beat at the end of each day. The show was a success in my eyes and I loved every minute of it. I sold lots of my things and got a good response so maybe I will expand my ephemera line. Sure is fun recycling vintage treasures which is basically what I do, either by making them into "art" or selling them for others to enjoy.
We headed home via Atlanta where we shopped at The Container Store and IKEA! Whoo Hoo....could have spent many more hours in both places but as it was we had to expand to the roof rack to carry home all our purchases. We finally dragged in around midnight, having had a totally wonderful weekend. Will I get invited to tag along again? I hope so!
