We went to see Jake this rainy afternoon. Here is the state of affairs as of today. He is still not "listed" and needs to go through a heart stress test tomorrow and then that all important part of the "process" will enable him to finally make "the" list! Where on the list will he be? That is the million dollar question....he was too sick to even go through a transplant on monday and today, thursday, he is in too good a condition to be listed as critical!!!!! egads!!!! he is still in insolation and yet they are saying that he could actually go home to wait for his transplant. do i understand how that can happen with drains still inserted and IV's still in place? no! The process for getting an organ is complicated and based on need, so he needs to be strong for the surgery but in dire need at the same time. SOOOOOOOOOOO, what do we pray for now? God's will in all things. His timing is perfect and we know He is in control. OK, so, that's the prayer and we are sticking with it BUT, whow, we sure would love to see a perfect match come real soon!!!!!
Love you all for all the support. Here is Jake's address if you want to send a card or note. No point sending it to the hospital...the place is huge and he keeps changing rooms on us. I think he is where he will be for a while but who knows.
416 Wildwood Way, Belleair, FL 33756
He is a Simpson's fan so i simpsonized him on the internet...he loved it!
