LONG DAYS & LONGER NIGHTS
And does anyone sleep anymore? Jake says he gets lots of 5 minute naps! And then "THEY" are back to do something, take something, administer something! It is endlessly the same and then there are tests and more tests!
We visited him this morning and he looks really good considering all he has been through. We are hoping he will be "listed" tomorrow. His vital signs are all good and he is improving every minute! Could that possibly be due to all the prayers being said in his name? THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!! We are all a lot more optimistic today than we were yesterday but he is still a very sick guy. Here's one to look up cause this is the serious culprit attacking his system. It's called VRE He is in reverse isolation which means anyone, anyone at all, that enters his room must be in a gown, mask and gloves....likewise if he leaves his room for tests, the same applies. This is a nasty infection that antibiotics do not kill.
So, that is probably more information that you need to know and I will close with my thanks to all of you! We are blessed with very special friends! We love you all!

Well, glad to hear things are looking better today. Still praying for Jake's health and more good news. My verse for the day is:
"Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus."
1 Thessalonians 5:18
Not always an easy one to follow through with, but as I'm learning, if you can find even ONE thing to be thankful for, God will supply many more to follow. And believe it or not, there actually is a purpose to the madness of God's plan, regardless if we ever see it fulfilled or not.
Love you girl! It's hard being a momma in these circumstances when you feel so helpless. You just want to kiss it and make it better. I feel for you dear friend.
Hugs,
Dawn

Dottie,
All our thoughts and prayers are with you and especially Jake and April. We pray for strength and that a new liver is found quickly. Customers you know are sending messages to God to prevail. Take care and keep us posted.
