I am home from the hospital but I am not doing any happy dance yet! The incision site is not causing any pain but my hips and lower back are killing me.....a couple of meltdowns today when the pain was out of control. Finally got my perscription filled and popped an extra pill and now I can at least function. Thank goodness for this laptop as I cannot sit at my PC yet and so I cannot answer mail. I am hoping by tomorrow that this hip thing will improve. I know I can sit up and roll over now without wrenching pain so that is good sign. (So can my dogs)
Thank you all for your prayers, emails and phone calls. I really do apppreciate them all.
Still planning on our trip to Barbados on Tuesday but all I will be doing is working on my tan while reading books and sipping rum punch! I know you sympathize with me. Trust me, I would rather be playing golf and swimming (can't get the surgery site wet). So, as promised, this is my update. Hopefully more encouraging news tomorrow.
