Well, it's 2007 and we are hoping for all good things....good health topping the list! I am still sad 12 days into this year and have daily melt-downs but I have learned several life lessons in these last couple of weeks that I believe are a direct result of losing my little buddy. The most important lesson is this: to spend time with my friends, spend quality time with them, spend time with them when you don't have the time and listen to what they say! next: forget about that "to do" list! Erma Bombeck had it right! Nothing is going anywhere and it will all still be there when I get back from visiting my friends. My Christmas cards are proof of that! They are still on the dining room table....the ironing is piling up....the address book and calendars have not been updated but....my days are spent enjoying each moment! next: don't put off seeing the doctor and being my own health advocate! While I typically wake up and hit the floor running, I do not exercise......I need to change that to some degree (the dogs agree). lastly: love what I do and do what I love......without guilt! whew! None of these are resolutions.....they are things that have taken me too long to learn.
Resolution: get back to playing golf! and of course lose 10 pounds......duhhhhhh
So, tomorrow starts the weekend and I am hoping it is filled with lots of FUN!!!!!!! for you and for me.
